Event Activities
Children can participate in hands-on-activities such as bookmaking, bookmark making, creative writing, and sharing stories during the Open Mic time.
Children will also have the opportunity to meet the author and receive a free book (while supplies last)!

This Year's Event

This year's featured author is Tina Nichols Coury, author of the award winning book Hanging Off Jefferson's Nose: Growing Up on Mount Rushmore.
The Children's Reading Celebration & Young Authors' Fair is a FREE and FUN event that celebrates children's reading, writing, and storytelling.
The event will be held at the John Spoore Broome Library at CSU Channel Islands.
